THE HOLLAND BLOCK, GASTOWN
An iconic Vancouver landmark at the convergence of Water & Cordova Streets. It was built in 1892 as a hotel contributing to the vibrant street life in Gastown. Up to this day, it remains Vancouver’s most avant-garde neighbourhood.
Buro restored the exterior facade while integrating the triangular shape into the interior architecture, all aligned with a central commune table.
Custom brass lighting was used to complement the heritage period elements in the building.
With wide open views across shop windows, Buro's location is the gateway to the lively streets of Gastown, and your ideal setting to meet, relax, plan ahead, and make things happen.
